Happy 30th birthday to my baby twin sisters! Today they are 30 years old. I remember being so excited when they arrived...
like having two life-size dolls in the house!
Incidentally, they were born the very day that Elvis died.
The woman in the hospital room with my Mom was crying her eyes out. My Mom thought her child had died or something....
"Elvis just died!" she wailed.
"Oh.., I just had twin girls" my Mom replied.
That lady probably thought my Mom had her priorities WAY out of whack.
Have parent orientation tomorrow night for Noah's school, so it's dinner on the go! We'll be having a creation of my own....
BBQ Ranch Chicken Wraps
In a large pan, saute' 1 medium sweet onion, sliced, and 1 clove of garlic, chopped with a little butter or margarine. When onions are soft, add strips of chicken breast and cook until chicken is browned. (you can add other things like fresh mushrooms, red peppers...anything you like) Now pour a little bit of your favorite GOOD BBQ sauce into the pan and stir. (don't overdo it on the BBQ sauce, though...you can always add more later) Warm some large tortillas. Fill a tortilla with some of the chicken/onion/BBQ sauce mixture and top with shredded jack cheese, if you like. Add some mixed greens or lettuce, diced tomatoes, and some ranch dressing. Fold over and eat!
These are REALLY yummy and great for dinner on the go. (sometimes we have to eat in the van on the way to somewhere) You can just wrap each one in foil and GO!
I still have a few home decor class kits left on Etsy! (link on the right) ~~> They are going pretty quickly...
And now another hilarious clip from The Office... It's a basketball game with the office guys vs. the warehouse guys. Losing team has to work the following Saturday. :) Enjoy!

Blessings,
Jennifer

Hi, Jennifer - I can't seem to find your contact link on your blog - sorry...I'm in Seattle now for about 8 more days too so I don't have my address book with me either - anywhoosie - was wondering if you would want to come back to Scrapbook 911 in Oct or Nov. to teach the Autumn Garland class? It looks really cool. Let me know - Brenda :) bfirsich@satx.rr.com

I love your sisters LO....gotta ask? What paper is the background with the flowers? Also..what is that pink strap with studs on it on the top of the layout? It looks like leather?

Love purple and love the layout!! I also enjoyed the story about them being born on the day Elvis died.....what a claim to fame...LOL. Then again...they say every day that someone goes out and someone comes into this world. Don't know if you know this but Aug 16th is also Madonna's birthday.
