Happy Valentine's Day! We are going out to eat on Wednesday night and taking both of our Moms (Noah's grandmas) and Noah. Can't wait to have a big meal of Mexican food! I'm getting my hair cut in the afternoon, too. I sooo need it. With this curly hair I only get it cut every 6 months or so, lol. But it needs a shaping.

(<~~my new cookbook!) Ok... I love egg salad. It's the perfect "comfort food" sandwich. Unfortunately I'm the only one in the house who likes it, so I don't have it that often. But I love it. It's sooo good on a toasted bagel, freshly made with lots of dill...and no onions.

I was looking thru my new Barefoot Contessa cookbook last night and I see her recipe for egg salad, along with a paragraph that says egg salad is her comfort food. I knew I liked her! :) (she's actually my favorite food personality) Her recipes are fabulous because they are pretty easy, full of yummy ingredients, and everything is practical. My sister Allison gave me this cookbook for my birthday, so now I have all 5 of Ina's cookbooks. I don't buy a lot of cookbooks since there are thousands of recipes free online, but her books are just beautiful, full of photos of her lovely home, table settings, and the food she makes. You can read them like a book. :) (well, I do)

I can't believe I leave for MA in 2 days! I had to go into Hobby Lobby today to pick up a few more boxes for a class and when my "contact" lady there saw me, she ran over, met me in the aisle, and said, "I put some boxes in the back for you in case you came in." LOL. Ok, is that sad or what?

I need to go to bed...lots to do tomorrow. :)

Oh I love egg salad too and no one else in my house does either! Yet another reason for us to be friends! I hope you have a great time in MA...you'll have to tell me all about it when you get back!
