This morning my mom and I had a garage sale...made about $40ish. Nothing spectacular, but it was great to get rid of some more clutter. After we closed up, we went over to the 1898 store with my sister Allison. I was just there a week ago and saw so many different things this time. It's so packed it's impossible to see everything. I got a sterling silver footed little stand (for Easter decor), some mercury beads, and three old wire letter baskets for 50 cents each. (those were a steal!) I asked my sister to take this photo with her iphone while we were shopping. One of the many gorgeous cabinets in this place! (and every drawer is full of stuff)

Back home....baking cookies....thinking about doing Easter decor today, but also wanting to take a nap. I also need to cut 8 entire bolts of fabric into 6"x6" squares for my Inspired Artist Workshop kits. I think the nap will win for now.

Have a fun Saturday!

Don't you just love digging for treasure? That's what it feels like everytime we go to 1898 store. I find lots of new stuff each visit. Don't always bring alot home with me, but have the fun it the hunt.

Hey by the way....check my blog. I put a picture up of another cool case that we found in another little shop it Buda. The slide out shelves are old picture frames. She displays jewelry in it, but it would be good for storing rubber stamps. I need to start collecting old frames.

WOW - Jennifer - Did you get that cabinet? I so would have loved to have had that in my craft room. Hoe much were they selling that for?

Such a sweet surprise when stores tuck things inside of drawers. I love that. Sounds like you made some great buys.
