Good morning!

I'm still working on the final details of my space, but I wanted to post a few photos. Hopefully sometime in the next couple of days I'll have a video tour on here. I'll do a little walk thru of my room. :) I'm still waiting for a few more items to arrive from Sadie Olive.

This photo is of one of my new shelves. I bought two antiqued white 5-shelf bookshelves and left the backing off so they would be open to the wall. I just have the shelves side-by-side, next to my work table. I love it because I can reach most everything. The rest of my supplies are in a closet on the other side of the desk. I got some Simply Shabby Chic bedding from Target which dresses the twin bed in the room. I absolutely love the view from my table - looking out on the backyard. I put a window box full of different pink shades of petunias and hibiscus flowers on the window sill outside - so pretty. (You can click on any photo for a larger view. Sorry they are a little dark. I took them early this morning before the sun was bright.)

I wanted the room to be pretty, feminine, and use my antique and junk store finds well. Just having it all displayed in a pretty way is inspiring. Massive amounts of supplies isn't important to me. Having just what I love to use is. More to come!

Enjoy your Mother's Day weekend!

Looks wonderful! I've been wondering where you've been... I think the visual inspiration is the biggest motivator to get those creative juices flowing. BTW, I tried the cornbread casserole - crazy delicious! Love ya!

Your room is looking lovely! I love all the antique/vintage accents. Really does make the room feel inspiring. I need to do the same to mine.

LOVE IT! I'm so jealous. I need to do a giant purge to rid myself of the things I don't use anymore. Love the "having just what I use" philosophy. I've been trying so hard to adhere to that lately. Can't wait to see more.

I so love your room!! I love the fact that there isn't tons of products, just the stuff you use. It's nice to see someone who isn't a hoarder of all things scrap related!! Thanks for the tour.
