Working on my new room/space :) I'm giddy!
I have a beautiful view of the backyard/flowers, a huge storage closet, a twin bed (which will have shabby bedding) that has a trundle drawer underneath (for storing more supplies).....this is so much fun!
Working on it all week...will post photos when I am done.
Since I don't have any photos to share or much to blog about, here's a recipe for you. I made this last night to take to my mom's house for a BBQ.
Jennifer's Cornbread Casserole
2 cans cream style corn
1 can whole kernel corn, drained
1 1/2 pkgs. cornbread mix (I used the Gladiola brand, 6 oz. pouch)
3 eggs
2/3 c. oil
1/2 small jar mild salsa (or hotter!)
1 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
salt and pepper
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9x13 baking pan with non-stick spray. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl until thoroughly mixed together. Pour into baking pan and bake 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until center is done. YUM. :)

Can't wait to see your room!! I'm trying hard not to be pea-green with envy so I'll just have to live vicariously through you! We just need a bigger house.

I can't wait to see your pictures either. Sounds like you will have some "inspiring views" from your new location. The room already sounds beautiful.
Thanks for the recipie. I will try it this week. It sounds very yummy.

I sooo wish I could keep my scraproom, but very soon I need to start getting it transformed into a baby nursery! That's a great thing of course, but WHERE do I go with all the scrapbooking stuff?! We need a bigger place!
I'm excited for you though and I still can't wait to see your new retreat... it's going to be shabby so I KNOW I'll be in love with it!
Now hurry up and get those pix uploaded! ;)
Such fun!
I can't wait to see it!
