Just a little peek at some of what I've been working on. (click on the photos for a larger peek) I'm having so much fun I don't even want to sleep! I'll have my Etsy shop redone and stocked soon with beautiful vintage projects, charms, and notions kits. I found some of my grandmother's old hymnals!

Noah has inherited his passion (and I do mean passion!) for reading from his Dad. I don't read very much...would rather be working with my hands. So I took Noah to the huge downtown library yesterday to check out books. He was so excited to choose as many books as he wanted to take home. He loudly whispered "I LOVE READING!" while we wandered the endless aisles of chapter books. I love that he feels that way. :)

Is it hot in your neck of the woods? It's VERY hot here, so I've been looking for oven-free recipes to keep the house cooler. Here is where I've found a lot of yummy ones.

That is so beautiful! You are so talented! I always love seeing what you come up with. You inspire me!

My Allison loves reading too! Right now she's reading the Magic Tree House series. She loves them because they are adventurous. This works for me as I'm not a big fan of the Junie B. Jones books that most of the girls her age like. I think there is too much inappropriate stuff in them. Anyway, I've purchased enough of the MTH books so she can read one or two each week until school starts in the Fall. She reads them aloud to us and I love hearing her little voice. Why do our kids have to grow up. I love this age!

My daughter has always loved to read. And I don't care what she's reading...it could be a book, a magazine or a comic book, as long as she's reading it that is all that matters.

Your work is beautiful! Can't wait until your Etsy shop is up so I can see it all!

Your soldered charm is darling. Where is a good place to find instructions to make these? Thanks!

So cool that your son loves to read! Neither one of mine do, but my husband and I are both big readers. Go figure! I keep hoping it will come later in life. Can't wait to see all of the goodies you are creating. You are so talented, woman!! And thanks for the link to the no cooking recipes! It's been warm here, but it's about to get a lot hotter, that's for sure!

You have a list of sites that inspire you. So do I but lately it seems to be a list of one. I always get inspiration when I visit here. Today it was "grandmother's old hymnals" My mom's piano sits in our livingroom unplayed with a bench full of old music books. I think I will be looking through them today.

I'm like you, could live without reading, which is strange because I love books so much! Uhg, yes I'm already tired of this heat. I'd give anything for a good rain shower about now!
