We are staying home from church this morning due to two boys with bad coughs. I decided to rearrange some of my goodies. Just looking at it all makes me want to create something. I'm working on ideas for Etsy projects and some pretty class kits to sell. (click on the photo for a larger view) I even have a little hidden stash started for my INSPIRED Artist Workshop 2009 class. ha :)
I got my INSPIRED room cleaned up last night, a.k.a. the guest room. The room was literally filled with remnants of my kits, empty flower stems, packing peanuts, glitter...it was a mess. Last night I got it all arranged in the guest closet (my "extras/teaching/project" closet), vacuumed, and straightened the bed. Now we can actually have guests again, not that it happens more than 2-3 times a year. (my whole family lives in town)
Speaking of INSPIRED..... Paolo, Ali's friend, took photos during the weekend and they are absolutely wonderful. He really captured the fun, messy, laid back feeling of the event. (and he has great taste in music!) Here is a link to view the photo slideshow. Make sure your volume is turned up!
This week we bought tickets for the Austin City Limits Music Festival in September. So many great bands playing! I saw one of the lesser well-known groups on TV and just love their music, so I look forward to seeing them on stage. Here is a sample of their work - The Belleville Outfit. They are fun! Sort of like Nickel Creek with piano.

So glad to hear you will be back to teach in '09. I'm ready to write my check now. Such great times we had and again, I thoroughly enjoyed your class. Inspiration is a great thing.

I have kicked myself down the street for not going to INSPIRED this year...I have only stopped long enough to type this post! I am going to start saving my pennies NOW for next year...Can I hide them with your secred project goodies?
Hmmm... what could you have up your sleeve for next year??? I can't wait to find out. Got the official word today that I will FOR SURE be there!! Woohoo!!
