Isn't this little ensemble here precious? My sweet friend Jana sent me all of this for my birthday. Does she know me or what? There's a pink/brown heart shaped box with vintage postcards, old timecards and railroad cards, a silver tin dish, an old doily, a Maya road chipboard heart album, a cute little sparkly baby photo, and (the best thing) a sweet little birthday party invitation that was her DAD'S when he was little. She found it in an old box of her Grandma's things. Isn't that just the best? Please keep Jana's family in your prayers as they lost her father-in-law in a car accident this past week. :(
I am all packed and ready to go to my scrapbooking retreat this coming weekend! I'm early, but I always end up doing it the night before, so I wanted to get it done while I had plenty of time. Here's a photo of the cart that I take to the retreat. I love being able to just pull the cart up next to my seat and work. I don't have to dig for anything in a tote at all. Here are three more photos of the cart - Photo 2, Photo 3, and Photo 4. (These photos are from 6 months ago, not this retreat)
Making beef and chicken fajitas tonight with a packet of Colorado Spice Carne Adobado seasoning. I tasted some fajitas at Central Market the other day made with this spice and they were out of this world. Serving with whole wheat tortillas, lettuce, tomato, salsa, and cheddar cheese. Yum!
