PhotobucketAren't there some movies you could just watch over and over? I have several that are like that for me. Moonstruck is one of them. I love all of the actors, the old New York homes, the music, the food, the dialogue. I remember when I saw it in the theater, I immediately wanted to watch it again. I need to have an Italian crop night and serve lasagna and watch this movie. :)

Here is one of the best scenes from Moonstruck. If you haven't seen it, please rent it!

Another movie I never get tired of is That Thing You Do, a movie about a one-hit wonder musical group. It's so sweet and FUN and you just cheer them on thru the movie. And the cast is superb. Here's a scene from that movie. It includes the scene where they've just produced their record and hear it on the radio for the first time. So much fun!! (Note: Heck, if you want to watch the entire movie, it's on there! Just double click on this video screen below and it will open You Tube. You can see the numbered movie segments on the right, starting with That Thing You Do 1.)

What are your favorite movies to watch more than once?

And just because I think Conan O'Brien is hiLARious, here's a funny bit he did the other night.
He's showing what his staff did during the writers' strike...and he shows how they all played the video game Rock Band....and how he plays his own guitar along with them.

at my house we watch "Gone in 60 Seconds" over and over. We own the dvd - but there is just something about finding it playing on tv that makes all of us sit down together and watch. (and recite favorite lines)

Have a wonderful day.

My favorite movie to watch over and over is "Murphy's Romance" with Sally Field and James Garner. I never tire of that movie. I love closing the door of my scrapbook room and watch it while I work.

Hmmm, for me it is Save the Last Dance, Steel Magnolias, Fried Green Tomatoes and How to Lose a Guy in 10 days. :)

"You are a son who does not love his mother!"

I love, love, LOVE Moonstruck and could watch it over and over again! My father and I love this movie and quote it to each other all the time. Definitely one of my top 10's.

And That Thing You Do...when my niece was around 7 years old she used to watch this movie over and over and over again. I know every single song by heart and I love watching it. It's just a fun movie to watch.

I love Remember the Titans and Shawshank Redemption. I own both of them and yet when they pop up on the TV I still watch them every time.

Snap out of it! Lol! While I scrap or clean I listen to
"You've Got Mail," "How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days," and "Waiting For Guffman." I rarely listen to music, I just pick movies or shows I've seen a bazillion times.

Hard for me to pick just a couple movies! But had to laugh at the mention of one of my favorites . . .That Thing You Do. I watched that one while in labor with both of the girls. The first time around, the doctor came in and groaned when he saw what was on the TV. Seems his daughter watched it over and over and he was sickened to death of it.

Oh, we are kindred souls!

Love Moonstruck...had a retreat at Summer's Mill with an Italian theme using the soundtrack. And That Thing You Do...definitely going on the list to go on the Ipod. Like Jackie, I listen to movies I know by heart when I scrap: Christopher Guest movies, Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, Godfather, Casino, and some new ones Joe is taking off the DVR for my Ipod...some are: All About Eve, Grand Hotel, MASH, The Killer Shrews, Attack of the Crab Monsters, Plan 9 From Outer Space, Camille, Kiss Me Kate, Elizabeth (with Cate Blanchett), The Private Lives of Elizabeth and Essex, Jezebel, The Court Jester, The Virgin Queen, Lion in Winter, oh the list goes on.

An American President is my all time favorite movie. Along with Steel Magnolia's, and Forrest Gump, just to name a few.

Love the Conan clip. He is so funny and talented. There are several movies I could watch over and over but ones that come to mind right now are Overboard, any Bridget Jones' Diary movies and Dumb and Dumber.

I so appreciate your fun little clips! Thanks for that!

I love Legally Blonde. It's always on and it just makes me smile for some reason. Still can't get enough of Say Anything. I like old timey movies too, anything in B&W.

Have you ever seen Big Night? Moonstruck makes me think of that movie.
