All of the project kits (I think around 45!) have sold OUT for the Advent Countdown Calendar I created for Right at Home Scrapbooking, so I can share full photos now. This is a cookie sheet that I painted, punched holes in with the CropaDile, and threaded with red gingham ribbon to hang it. Each of the numbered tiles are embellished with the Creative Imaginations Renae's House Christmas Line (such FUN colors!) and lots of other little things like rhinestones, buttons, felt, ribbon, ric-rack, etc. The numbers were printed on the computer and punched out with a small circle punch. Until you need a numbered square, they can all be stored on the "back" of the cookie sheet, in the recessed area. (each numbered square has a magnet on the back) I had such a great time creating this and will be working on something else soon for early 2008! Watch Right at Home's blog for the details.
Well, it's chilly here and comfort food is calling. Tonight I'll be making this homemade Macaroni and Cheese recipe. I love that it has gruyere, sharp cheddar, and romano cheeses in it. Of course, you could just use cheddar if you like! I'll make a big salad to go with it. Maybe apple cider this evening?
And here's a compilation of scenes from Season 3's "The Office" Christmas special. :)
(Haha @ Michael playing the sample of the song over and over instead of buying the whole song...)
"I heard the bells on Christmas Day
Their old, familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet
The words repeat
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!"
~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Adorable, Jennifer! I've had the pleasure of meeting Renae Lindgren, and she is as adorable as her products.

Jen,
That advent calendar is fabulous!!! I can see why the kits sold out in such a short time. I feel like your house must be a veritable Santa's workshop girl. I can just smell the cinnamon and gingerbread whenever I look at your pictures!
Can't wait to see what you have coming up for 2008!
This kit is beautiful...wished I would of gotten it before it sold out. You do awesome projects Jennifer.
