Well, I am living proof of the old saying, "it's the thrill of the hunt." We went ALL the way to Wimberley Market Days on Saturday and I spent a measly $2.00. On a bag of buttons. I love the buttons, but I sure did think I'd be spending more than THAT. But you know, I don't buy stuff that I just like. I have to absolutely LOVE it and gasp when I see it...or I don't buy it. And nothing there made me do that. There were several cute things but nothing that I just had to have. I think there were too many booths with homemade crafts and things I could find somewhere else. Yes, I was disappointed but hey....we had great BBQ sandwiches for lunch. :)
We did go to Uncommon Objects (my favorite store) and a few other South Congress shops when we got back into Austin and of course, that is where I found most of the things I bought. I am in love with this yellow wire double-tier basket. And in the top I have a big spool of vintage lace that I found and two cards of vintage silver/white thread lace. I'm not sure what to put in the bottom yet, so I'll wait.
I am so excited that Donna is going to start showing sneak peeks
of the projects for the Inspired. Artist Workshop weekend.
(I love my project) :D
Be watching her site/blog!
Blessings,
Jennifer
