I love, love, love Crate Paper. (it's a scrapbooking paper line)
The colors are so gorgeous, the patterns are wonderful, and the paper has this perfect texture.
I don't want to hide it in a scrapbook.
Instead, I used some for decoration inspiration.
I went to Target, a photo of my Crate paper loaded on my phone, and got a few things to decorate my half-bath for Summer. (it's a "blank canvas" so I redecorate it quite often) I used the new Baby Bee Collection as the inspiration for everything I bought.
I got a pale yellow bathmat and hand towel, a pale orangey peach hand towel, and some silk flowers that will go in a chippy sap bucket on the wall. (pale yellow peonies and darker orange poppies) I'll also be framing these papers in dark wood frames and they'll go on the wall, too. I wanted summer colors but nothing really bright and overpowering this year. I might add in a little pale blue, too. And I'll add some swirly rub-ons to the wall mirror. The little bird is from one of my favorite little shops here in Austin...Homespun Cottage.

What a FUN way to decorate a little room....all because of a piece of paper. :)

As of 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday I have FIVE kits left for the Shabby Chic house project. If you want one, please email me and let me know. **UPDATE: ONE KIT LEFT...5:00 p.m. Thursday!

Oh.....new 80's video over there. ~~~> (I laughed out loud when I saw "Night Tracks" come on!)

David is going to a dinner meeting tonight, so Noah and I are going out for pancakes for our dinner.

Have a good Wednesday :)

What a great idea to upload a pic to your phone so that you can use it in the store :) I hope you enjoyed your pancakes!
