3.30.07

Hi! Sorry it's been so long since I updated.

Guess who we are going to go see in May?
He's over there.
<~~~~ I can't WAIT!! I've heard that his concerts are absolutely wonderful. :)

Tonight we went with my Mom down to South Congress Avenue or "SoCo" as it's called here in Austin. We ate dinner at Vespaio, a really terrific Italian restaurant. We were a block away from Uncommon Objects (my favorite store EVER) so we walked down. I was SO excited. And they were closed, 15 minutes before we had arrived. Boohoo! (like I needed more vintage/antique stuff...)

Today I received my Jenni Bowlin March "add on" kit and oh my....it is gorgeous. I just subscribed to her monthly kits, something I said I'd NEVER do. (subscribe to any kits, that is) But her stuff is exactly what I love and her style just fits. So I can't wait to see what arrives every month!

Did you see I added 80's videos to my sidebar? Today's video of choice is "Our House" by Madness. :)

David and I have been laughing our heads off watching "The Office." We recently bought the first two seasons on DVD and watch a few episodes every night. Oh man, why haven't we watched this before?? It's hysterical! Now we're trying to play catch up so we can catch up with this season. Here is one of my favorite clips from their office Secret Santa Swap:

Kellie, the teapot had some "inside joke" things inside for Pam from Jim....his HS yearbook photo (because it makes her laugh). A packet of hot sauce that she put on her hot dog instead of ketchup...a pencil with a long history that Jim doesn't want to get into. And a card, "because Christmas is the time to tell people how you feel." (he's in love with her)

Have a wonderful weekend!

We saw Harry Connick, Jr. in concert several years ago (it was his Christmas tour). You WILL NOT be disappointed. He is a true entertainer. I can't wait to see him in concert some day. I have all his CD's (except his latest one).

Isn't the Jenni B stuff gorgeous? LOVE that last kit. I subbed to because I didn't want to chance missing out anymore!

Yep...seen Harry THREE times.....delish! The last time was on the "come by me" tour. He is my most favorite singer EVAH. You're going to love seeing him in person!

Love your blog, and your style! Also love me some Harry and have to tell you his concerts are wonderful. He used to set up a table to sign autographs after his shows, not sure if he still does. But, when I saw him, the table was set up near the tour bus, and it was awesome! So take a cd or something for him to sign! Have fun!
