I have another confirmed teaching date that I just added to my sidebar. ~~>
I'm so excited to be visiting Right at Home Scrapbooking in February!

Some funny conversations I've had or heard with Noah lately....

(Noah is watching Napoleon Dynamite...school dance scene)

Me: Some day, do you think you'll go to dances like that?
Noah: NO way.
Me: Well, someday you'll want to go to them.
Noah: Nuh uh. I'm going to be sick that day.

---------------------

(Noah and his cousin, Luke...watching Spongebob, episode where they are singing "it's your birthday...and it's all about YOU)
Noah: Well, that's dumb. It's not all about YOU on your birthday.
Luke: Yeah, it's not just about you, is it? That's not true.
Noah: Yeah.
Luke: It's about PRESENTS and CAKE, too.

I love listening to them when they don't think I am!

The photo above is a peek of a ribbon box class that I'm teaching twice at my LSS in February. Can't wait! You'll get to choose your own papers and customize it to match your scrap area. The eyelets will match, too. :)

In our quest to eat healthier this year, I've been modifying a lot of our meals. Lots of whole grains, fruits and veggies, and just altering the preparation. Two nights ago I made Cooking Light's Oven-Fried Chicken and it was really good! (I used all breast meat) So just a healthy recommendation for you to try. :)

Goodnight!
- Jennifer

(I heard this on the radio the other night)

“You've got to ask! Asking is, in my opinion, the world's most powerful -- and neglected -- secret to success and happiness.” - Percy Ross

I wish I'd done a better job of writing down cute little conversations with my boys like that. Heck, my brain is so fried from all these years of Barney, Spongebob & Pokemon that I can't remember what was said yesterday let alone years ago!!

Cooking Light is a fabulous resource for delicious, healthier foods. I subscribe and we probably eat 80% of our meals from recipes that I cut out of the magazine. I've had this oven fried chicken and it is yummy!
