Hi! :D

Sorry it's been so long since I've written anything.
I sure appreciate everyone who still checks in.
Things are slowing down now that I've taught my last class of the year
and Noah is almost out for Christmas break. Yay!

I did take about an hour today and make this cute little button tree.
I saw Tia Bennett's tree on 2Peas and just had to make one, too!
(paint a styrofoam tree pink, then cover it with buttons held on by straight pins) It is sitting on my scrap table and makes me smile!
Noah is SOO anti-pink it's hilarious. He actually got this tree today and hid it!
He wants a t-shirt at Target that says, "Jingle Bells, All Girls Smell" but I won't let him have it. Stinker.

My class on Saturday was a lot of fun!
I think everyone enjoyed the project and it was GREAT
seeing how they all personalized their houses.
I always learn so much about the project by seeing others work on it.
(Hi Holly, Katie, Lynda, Ann, and Courtney!)

I do have about 5-6 extra class kits.
If you are interested in one, please email me.
(Jenyfer28@aol.com) The cost would be $20 plus $5 shipping.
(You can see photos of the project in some previous posts.)
The kit won't include a few of items we used as a group in class (swirl stamps, mod podge, sticker words)
but these are easy to substitute on your own. (in class cost was $23)
Kit will include instructions and of course you can email me for help. :)
(All of the kits are gone...thanks!)

I heard this song on the radio today and it brought back fun memories.
I still love it! And boy, did I think it was way cool to have George Michael and Duran Duran
in the SAME song. :D
(actually, I think it was tubular back then...)

Jennifer,

What a cute tree! It would look so pretty in my pretty pink scraproom....I'll have to get my Mom's button box!

Thanks for the idea.

Hey, Jennifer! I've been wanting to make one of those trees, too -- yours is SO pretty! Dumb question, but where did you get your buttons? Did you find one color in bulk somewhere? I'm glad your class went well -- sure looked like a cute project!! BTW -- thanks for the Christmas radio link. I've been listening for several days now.
