Welcome to Austin, Buckeye fans! :D

Tonight is the highly anticipated Texas vs. Ohio State football game.
Last year we whooped them in their own stadium.
This year they are in our city.
And we don't have Vince Young and several other key players.
Well, we'll see what happens.

If Texas wins, Kimber has to do a Longhorn layout featuring her little boy. If Ohio State wins, I have to do a Buckeye layout with my son.
Kimber, I have some Longhorn paper I can send you if you need it.
:D

Today I'm going with my Mom to see Little Miss Sunshine.
My friend Heather said it is so hilarious, so I'm going on her recommendation.
Ha, no pressure, Heather!

Have you seen that 2-page layouts are coming back in the scrapbooking magazines? For a while everything was one page, just one photo. I have no problem with that and sometimes would use this format. Sometimes that is the easiest to do for design team assignments as it's easier to showcase product with less photos.
But I love 2-page spreads, so I'm planning on doing more at the retreat in 2 weeks. Our Pink Martini design team leader is Becky Fleck and she creates some really amazing Page Maps for 2-page layouts. It's similar to Becky Higgins' sketches, except I love how hers are so detailed. Follow the link above to see the page maps and print some out. Becky is great!

Speaking of Pink Martini Designs.... Did you know they are releasing PRODUCT LINES at Memory Trends?
Flirtini, Orange Dreamsicle, and Pink Squirrel are the names of the 3 lines. They are gorgeous!
Papers and embellishments.
There is a sneak peek ad in this month's Scrapbook Answers magazine. :D

Ok....THIS is one of the funniest things I've seen in a LONG TIME.
Conan O'Brien visits a group of people who dress up and pretend they are
playing baseball in the 1860's. He interviews them, plays baseball with them (in costume)
and has some of the funniest lines ever while poking fun at them. Enjoy! :D

Have a wonderful weekend!
- Jennifer

Hey Jennifer. This Buckeye fan will be watching the game. I'll send you my buckeye candy recipe so you can think of me when we win. Just kidding. But I will post the recipe anyway.

Uh-oh..I saw that Ohio won...is it in the bet that you have to post the layout on your blog, I would like to see what you come up with having to make a buckeye layout, so sorry about your loss but can't wait to see the bet result!!

Oh my goodness, I just surfed back through your back blogs and found this post. I'm a BAMA fan (Roll Tide!) but also love the Horns (am origially from Texas) and just knew that they were gonna beat the crap out of OSU. It really shocked me when they lost so badly! Very sad here!!!
I would hate to have to do a Buckeye layout! Good luck with that!
