Happy Birthday, Courtney! :D I'm going to my friend Courtney's birthday crop tonight. I'll be working on design team projects. Love having a straight 6 hours to work, girl talk, and eat pizza and chocolate.
I'm bringing the birthday dessert. :D (recipe below)

Look who has a new blog! I've added her to my list on the right. Her initials are RS. :) ~~~>

I just want to take a minute to tell my sweet Mom how important she is to our family! I don't think you'll find a better Grandma or Mom anywhere. She loves us and especially her cute grandkids more than anything and shows it all the time! She plays a major role in Noah's life and I'm so very thankful every day that she lives so close to us. Noah LOVES going over there because he knows he'll get spoiled :) I love you so much, Mom!

I'm off to pack and bake! Here is the dessert recipe...

Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie Dessert

1 (21.5 ounce) box fudge brownie mix
1/2 cup chopped peanuts
Peanut Butter-Cream Cheese Filling (recipe below)
1 (1 ounce) square semisweet chocolate, melted and cooled

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 10-inch pie plate.
Prepare brownies as directed on package. Spread dough in pie plate; sprinkle with peanuts. Bake until center is set, 30 to 35 minutes; cool.
Prepare Peanut Butter-Cream Cheese Filling.
Spoon into pie shell.
Refrigerate until chilled, about 3 hours.
Drizzle with chocolate. Refrigerate any remaining pie.

Peanut Butter-Cream Cheese Filling
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup peanut butter
1 tablespoon milk
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup chilled whipping cream

Mix sugar, peanut butter, milk and cream cheese in large bowl until smooth.
Beat whipping cream in chilled small bowl until stiff;
fold into cream cheese mixture.

Count your blessings! :)

"A grandma is warm hugs and sweet memories. She remembers all of your accomplishments and forgets all of your mistakes. She is someone you can tell your secrets and worries to, and she hopes and prays that all your dreams come true. She always loves you, no matter what. She can see past temper tantrums and bad moods, and makes it clear that they don't affect how precious you are to her. She is an encouraging word and a tender touch. She is full of proud smiles. She is the one person in the world who loves you with all her heart, who remembers the child you were and cherishes the person you've become." ~ Barbara Cage

Jen, I love this recipe! I just made peanutbutter frosting for a chocolate cake a few days ago. Peanutbutter, chocolate and cream cheese all in the same recipe... absolutely sinful! Beautiful quote! I do love your blog!

Are you TRYING to kill me with that dessert? If I lose my diet bet with Dave, I will have to plan a weekend FISHING trip. Pass me a carrot recipe, would ya?
