Happy Monday! :D

Lots of fun things to do today in preparation for the 4th of July tomorrow and for the classes I'm teaching later this week. I'm so excited! The photo above is of my student supply buckets for the classes. I put one of these on each table and they hold things like glue sticks, small rulers, pencils, push pins and pads....just any extra little supplies that students might need and may have forgotten at home. Oh, and of course some chocolate! Aren't they cute? These are small Target tins with an extra-large eyelet, set with the fabulous Crop-A-Dile and a wide ribbon tied on each one. And yes, the Crop A Dile punches thru metal! We are using it for the classes, too. :D

Gotta go run errands. Here is a 4th of July card I made last month for Homespun Harvest. Love these papers! (click on it to see a larger photo) Have a fun 4th of July, celebrating America's birthday! How blessed we are to live in this country. Thank you, Lord.

Oh! Here is the recipe that I'm going to make tomorrow to take to our 4th of July celebration. It is SO GOOD! I couldn't find it on the Food Network website, so here it is on another site. *Sagaponack Corn Pudding* Note: You can use frozen corn if you can't get fresh. Bye! :D

Okay, the tins are brilliant. They are so fun and inviting. That makes me want to teach locally just so that I can use the tins! And that cropadile - where have I been? That thing does amazing stuff. I thought it was just another eyelet setter. Boy was I wrong! And Jen, that 4th of July card is AWESOME. Very patriotic and artistic. I'm loving what you designed! Happy 4th to you and yours. Enjoy the holiday.

I love the tins! Now that's clever.
So, that new tool cuts through metal, huh? I may have to re-think my decision not to get one!

Jennifer, thanks for sharing your little decorated tins. Your class attendees are very lucky to have you for a teacher - you make the tables look so inviting and you are so very well prepared for classes. It'll be so much fun, I'm sure and they'll come out with new ideas and new techniques. Love your 4th of July card too!

OMG! I had been looking for a good cornpudding recipe and was just checking out your blog today. I used to make it from an old BHG issue that I misplaced when we moved 5 years ago (you'd think I would have written it down). Thanks girlie!
