Pink, Black and Bling-Bling

(click on the photo to see it larger)

I've come to realize that I love rhinestones. I love the bling bling. I look for glitz in my clothes (love sequins!) and accessories. And it's so much fun to use in scrapbooking. I don't know what it is..glitz is just FUN! Maybe because it's ultra-girly and I'm surrounded by males all of the time. Whatever it is, I'm enjoying it! :)

Tomorrow I'll be working on a scrapbooking project. I figured out last night I want to use pink, black, white, and lots of glitz. (The project is sort of a secret so I can't say much about it. ) I love challenging myself with a big pile of supplies, like the one pictured above. I just pulled out a bunch of my favorite things from my scrapbooking armoire and piled them together. It "grounds me" on a certain color scheme or style to see everything all together like this. I can't wait to get started on it tomorrow!

Oh, a new "toy" I got is that green pen. I don't know if it's a new thing, but it's new to me. It's an embossing ink pen. I can just write or draw anything, sprinkle the embossing powder on and heat set it. I want to try it with silver powder and lots of hand-drawn swirlies. We'll see what happens...

I think for dinner I'll make spaghetti and meat sauce with a green salad. Something simple! :)

Thank you, Lord, for the cool weather that will arrive at 4:00 a.m. I may have to run out in my PJs to welcome it to town! 60 degrees? I don't even remember what it feels like! So, thank you, Lord :)

Can I come play with you and all your fun pink and black!!! I see WSD stamps in there too! I have actually been using the embossing pen to add my signature to some of the things I've been doing It looks pretty cool!

Cool front?!?!?! Well, the neighbor girl did mention something about it was supposed to be 48, but she didn't mean TOMORROW, did she? If she did, I'm in a whole heap 'o trouble! Ian doesn't have 1 pair of jeans that fits!

{sigh} gonna make us wait for that project, huh? Looks like you have an interesting assortment of goodies.

Have Fun!

all that pink and black reminds me of Heidi Swapp - a bunch of fun stuff you got there to work with - you will have to most definitely share what you do with it! lovin the rhinestones or jewels - just think they are cool. I am so ready for it to cool off here in Las Vegas - still in the mid 90's everyday and I am sick of feeling all sweaty and icky by the middle of the day!
