Good morning :)

I just returned from a 3-day scrapbooking retreat. Had a wonderful time with old friends, made some new friends, and got about 6 layouts done. Ha...not many, I know. I'm a slow worker..but I had fun! The layout above is one that I worked on this weekend. Vintage-ish with Heather Bailey paper and rub-ons. Love the glitter letters, too. Sad...I only took 3 or 4 photos last year at Inspired. I was just too busy teaching!

Speaking of Inspired...I wanted to go ahead and post my student supply list of things you'll need for my workshop this year - Kicked Up Canvas Collage. If you are attending Inspired, then you are in my class! Here are the supplies you'll need to bring:

Red-line tape (1/2” width)
Diamond Glaze
Glue stick
Scissors
Paper trimmer
Tweezers
Brown inkpad
Hand wipes
X-acto knife
Self healing mat
Ruler
Sewing needle
Sandpaper
Embroidery floss in various colors (should include red, brown, and off-white)
6-8 wallet size photos (black/white, sepia, or color)
1 piece of vintage/costume jewelry (pin, brooch, large earrings, etc.)
thimble (optional)
Your own collection of vintage buttons, jewelry, notions (optional)

To Use Other Colors/Fabrics
If you would like to use different colors and fabrics on this project, you’ll need to bring the following to class:

8 coordinating fabrics (6” square of each), 1 bottle of paint for canvas, 1 large silk flower and 3
patterned papers. (The other items included in the kit will work with any color scheme.)
