Good morning!

I have a fun Christmas giveaway for you today!

Right at Home Scrapbooking would like to give away one of the Countdown to Christmas Advent Flip Calendar/Album kits I designed for them to one of my lucky blog readers! This is a $50 retail value and is a really FUN way to countdown the days to Christmas. Ok yes, that part is coming to a close, but this project is different. Every calendar page is a 6"x6" scrapbook layout, so when you are finished counting down to Christmas, you have a ready to go Christmas album!

To be entered into the drawing, please leave a comment with your name and email address. In your comment, (if you remember)... tell me your favorite holiday cookie. :)

A winner will be chosen on Thursday evening, December 18th. Good luck!

My favorite cookie is a sugar cookie that my mother makes. It literally just melts in your mouth. I have tried to make it, but when I tried, it was something you wouldn't want it to come cloe to your mouth. I love the advent book. Thank you for doing this.

the calendar looks ADORABLE! LOVE the glitter detail!! Our favorite cookies that the kids and I make each year are, The andes mint cookies that you make with a cake mix, spritz cookies, sugar cookies which we then all decorate christmas eve and not really a cookie but the kids LOVE to make these, you take a pretzel and put a piece of candy kiss or rollo in the middle then cook very quickly in the oven then press a pecan in the middle when they come out of the oven. VERY simple and ow so yummy! The kids all fight over who gets to push the pecan in the middle! LOL! FUN times! ;0)

They are called honey crinkles. I have no idea where she got the recipe and haven't seen one like it anywhere, but they are so good.
The other is martha washington balls. They are pretty much pure sugar snowballs with some cocnut and then they are covered in chocolate. mmmm mmmm good! It's beginning to smell like Christmas. Thanks to you and right at home scrapbooking for the opportunity to grab a great kit.

Hi Jen. I love seeing all you do for the holidays. I won't be making my favorite holiday cookies this year. They are orange cookies made with orange icing. Soft and cool and my kids favorites too. I was sad to tell them that they would have to wait until after Christmas to get them, since I will have their babies right up until Christmas day. It is impossible to do anything but keep them out of trouble when they are here. The 11 month old is climbing on everything and the 22 month old is learning from him.
