2.7.10

The other day, I was looking at my stack of photos for scrapbooking. It's full of "event" photos, many of which don't need a whole layout to themselves. So I wrote myself a note that I'd like to do some month-based scrapbooking layouts where I include all of the event photos from a given month and do them as one layout together. How funny that just a few days later I got an email from sweet Wendy Smedley, asking if I'd like to do a E-book giveaway on my blog. (yes!) And get this.....the E-book is called A Year In the Life: Scrapbook Your Year in 24 Simple Layouts. How perfect is that? :D

Here is the E-book description from their website:
Whether you’re wrapping up 2009 or getting a jump start on 2010, A Year in the Life is your must-have eBook companion. With oodles of two-page spreads and multi-photo layout ideas, you’ll have your annual photo stash tamed in no time! Brought to you by the talented designers of Write. Click. Scrapbook, this 30-page eBook includes 24 layouts—both digital and paper—and enough inspiration to see you through the year in style.

The E-book is a totally cool concept where you download the book to your computer, printing if you like, but not having to shelve anything. I love this because I can always have access to it when I am at my computer. You can go here to see a peek of A Year In the Life. Don't you want a copy now?

Please leave a comment here and you'll be entered in a drawing to win a downloadable copy of this fantastic idea book. I'll choose a winner on Tuesday evening, February 9th. Good luck!

Hi Jennifer,
I've been stuck in the house since Friday, I hope to get out on Monday. I've been trying to get caught up on my scrapbooking, still way behind. I need help. Pick me.

Sounds perfect for how I want to scrapbook the boys pictures as they get older. I have way to many to do a page for each set of pictures, but if I could do a month at a time it would be great

Now that I have a million baby pictures I feel like I may never be caught up. Love the 24 layout concept to cover all of the events so I can handle the baby stuff in a little more detail.

Boy does this book soound like it was made for me. I have a tendency to get stuck with pictures from an event that I love but that don't necessarily need a whole layout. This sounds like a great way to use these pictures.

What an awesome idea. I have been trying to think about layouts that will stop causing me ALBUMS instead of memories. :)

What a great idea! I am so far behind with my albums, and I've been thinking about going digital, at least for theme albums like baseball, vacations, etc.

I find that scrapping a year or even a month of time on just one layout really hard for me to do. I want to do it but seem overwhelmed when I start thinking about how I can make that happen. This book might help me conquer this issue!
Thanks for the opportunity to win!

Sounds like a great book and a not so over-whelming approach for all those digi-pics! Thanks to you and Wendy for such a great giveaway!

I am here! This is great! I seem to have lost my will to do the traditional scrapbooking, so I have been trying to do digital when time allows! It's very nice of you guys to offer one to all of us!

Great concept and a great giveaway! I take lots of pictures at holidays and birthdays or just when the we all get together for no reason. I have been toying with the idea of doing layouts for each family group using pictures I've taken through out the year and giving those as Christmas gifts this year. So this would be very helpful!
