EDIT:
I have added external links to the videos since they wouldn't work as embedded files. Whaah.
Good morning :)
We are home and I'm so happy to be here. I love going places, but I'm such a homebody.
I like my couch, my lace curtains, my own bed, and my own towels. Hotel towels are kinda gross when you think about it. Anyway... :) We had an absolutely wonderful time on our trip. We hadn't been anywhere as a family for two years, so it was great to be together where the point of each day was to have fun.
I have tons of photos to sort thru and print. We took lots of videos as well. One of the highlights of the trip was the Jedi Training Academy in Disneyland. (that's Star Wars talk) A Jedi Master comes out on stage and chooses 20 kids from the audience to wear Jedi robes, learn a light saber sequence, then actually battle against Darth Vader and Darth Maul! Noah was one of the ones chosen and he was SO excited. (so were we!) Can you imagine how completely cool this is to an 8-year old boy?
Here is a video of him (yellow shirt) learning the sequence on stage: (be sure your sound is on)
He really got into it. :)
And here is the arrival of the Dark Side. Watch all the kids run off the stage. So cute!
(Noah in yellow shirt)
And this is Noah using the light saber sequence to battle Darth Maul! Love how he finishes, turns around and confidently retracts his light saber. :)
More to come soon...

videos are cute, cute, cute!
Yay Noah!! What a cute little Jedi :)
Welcome home. What a neat memory for Noah. Star Wars movies will always have a new meaning for y'all now.
How Great for Noah, what a great job. And he didn't want to go to the "Dark Side?" LOL! Good Boy. Thanks for sharing the cuteness. Grace
looks like he had a really good time.
Isn't that great!! Loved the videos! My (8 yo) son got to fight Darth Vader during the Jedi training at Disney/MGM last October - it was the best part of the whole trip for him. I told my husband that we could just go ahead and go home - nothing could top that!
Hey Jen,
Cute video of your son. He will have some great memories.
Welcome back home.
