Aren't these vintage carousels wonderful??
They are from Pottery Barn and are metal.
I just love them! I don't really need one, but thought maybe you do. :)
(click on the photo to get one!)
NOTE: I didn't buy these. No way I'd spend that much on them. I just love them, though, and thought I'd share them with my blog readers.
Last night I spread out all of my alphabets. I seriously have a lot of them and needed them reorganized.
I bought a pink/gray hanging file box yesterday at Target and now have all of my alphabet stickers and chipboard sheet letters organized by color. (this includes all of my American Crafts Thickers, Heidi Swapp chipboard alphabet sheets, and alphabet rub-ons) It's a lot more portable and easier to access than the 12x12 handled tote that I was using. It was pretty much falling apart anyway.
I also thought I'd show you how I organize my other alphabets.
My single chipboard letters are organized in these plastic Akro-bin containers that I got at Hobby Lobby. I have two of them for the entire alphabet and all of the numbers. (and a few common shapes) I stamped the alphabet with Staz-On ink onto the divided areas. I love these containers because when you close the lid, the divided areas go into the recessed lid so you'll never have the compartments spilling into one another.
Finally, all of my glittered chipboard alphabet letters are kept in this vintage pink quilted perfume box. :)
All of these storage solutions are portable, which is great for me at my twice a year retreats.
My living room is covered with kits that I'll be putting on Etsy later today. I'll have 10 Blessed All Year Mini-Canvases kits to sell, so check back later!
At 6:00 p.m. the Twelve Fridays website goes live and sign ups start for the coolest new monthly kit around!

Love your storage idea Jen! I have all my chipboard alphas in muffin tins - each letter has it's own cup. It's cute, but not very portable! May have to make a trip to Hobby Lobby this afternoon!
You are so right. I do need those carouseld. :) Alas, I cannot have them. But I do need them.
Oops, that's carouselS...
