12.29.07

Hi! :) Thank you for all of the well wishes, advice, etc. on my ankle. I sure do appreciate that. I'm feeling much better now thanks to the steroids and the for sleeping. I'm still getting the evil eye when I look like I might be taking down a Christmas decoration, so I'll have to wait a few more days. And YES, I am resting it. I promise.

The photo here shows a peek at the class I'll be teaching in February at the H.O.T.S. Club winter retreat - Blessed All Year. I can't wait! I love canvases, so this project includes four mini-canvases to hang on the wall. And I've incorporated fun things like vintage book pages, lots of painting, silk ribbons and lace, snow glitter, and vintage postcard images. I'm also making lots of extra kits to sell on Etsy. Stay tuned! I have lots of things to order and kits to assemble. How many of you would be interested in a kit? Just curious. (Click on the photo for a full-size view of the project, a description, and a close up of the Winter canvas.)

Happy New Year to you! May 2008 bring you much love and happiness! One of the best New Year's Eve movie scenes ever...

Hope I get a chance to purchase one of those kits. Have not worked with canvas yet.

Hope that ankle is getting better! I got sidelined a few weeks ago with a problem foot and ankle that sadly isn't better. But you just go on! The new class looks great too!
