At Noah's school they encouraged all of the parents to donate money to a large group fund known as "Thanksgiving Blessings." All of the money was pooled and divided evenly among the teachers. This was to take the place of Christmas gifts, allowing the teachers to be given a monetary blessing, even being able to use it for their own Christmas needs. (As a former teacher, I like that idea.) So....Christmas purchased gifts are being discouraged, which is understandable. Rather they are encouraging handmade things and most of all, handwritten notes from the children. So Noah's teachers are each getting a Christmas card from him with a note written inside - and a small Starbucks gift card. (I can't help it! Gotta give a little Starbucks!) In keeping with the "homemade" theme, tomorrow I am taking a large urn of hot apple cider into the school office with a "Merry Christmas from the Stewart family - enjoy!" sign. I think they'll like that. I know I would.
I'm sorry to say that I haven't had many full clips from The Office to share lately because many of them have been removed from You Tube. :( The writers' strike has really cracked down full-length clips and shows online, so many of them were taken away. There are, however, some compilations of "Top Ten" moments, so I'll share one of those here...
Top Ten Cold Openers :)

Have a good Tuesday!

I love, love, love it when Jim pops Dwight's exercise orb with his scissors. Priceless moment!

What a wonderful idea! I'll have to suggest that to the school for next year, that way teachers can buy the things that need/want for their class.
