Two days, 4.5 hours until I leave for the scrapbooking retreat! :D

So, whenever I go on a retreat or go out of town to teach, I always leave treat bags for Noah. One for each day I'm gone. There's usually a small toy, a piece of candy, and a book in each bag. Today I went to Borders and bought this book. Hil-AR-ious. I wish I could see Noah's face when he sees this book title. Right up his alley. :) Also got him a couple of Star Wars books and some small Legos. He'll be a happy camper this weekend with Daddy!

A conversation yesterday after I picked Noah up from school:

Noah: Mommy, I think I figured out a way to make Kaia stop staring at me. (a girl he says has a crush on him because she stares at him)
Me: How?
Noah: By doing this. (picks his nose)

That'll work.
:)

And now.....Happy Halloween, The Office-style. :D

If you want to have a theme, Robert Munsch (Love You Forever)has a hilarious book called "Good Families Don't." Very funny. There is also a funny sequel to "Walter..." Have fun!

I've read that book to my students. There are other Walter books out there too for future Noah gift bags. Enjoy!

Hey Jennifer,
I found your blog from the Scrapbook Crossings website. I used to take your class there, "All About Me". Some of my favorite color combos are: pink/brown; brown/turquoise; red/white/black; sage green/tan; silver-blue/pale orange. To welcome the fall season, my son and I made pumpkin chocolate-chip muffins for breakfast this morning. Yummy!
