Happy Saturday!
In 5 days and 3 hours I am going on a weekend scrapbooking retreat.
Oh, I cannot WAIT. I'm teaching a really fun class, have lots of scrapbooking pages to work on, and will definitely be getting a massage while I'm there. If I have any class kits left, those will go in my Etsy shop next week.
One of the things that I don't like about going to a retreat is having all of my stuff in a big cart and having to dig for anything I want to use.
I think I've solved that problem this time by purchasing this heavy 3-tiered metal cart from The Container Store. I'm going to put the cart in my van with the supplies in a crate. I'll load the cart up and roll it into the retreat when I get there and then I'll have a lot of my supplies all accessible, right next to my chair. I love it! I'll still have my paper files, letter stickers, chipboard alphabet boxes, and antique printer's tray ful of embellishments...and I'll put these things on the table and floor around me. But this will be so much easier! Note: This is not even CLOSE to being all of my supplies, lol. This is just what I'm taking to the retreat. :)
Here are a few more photos. You can click on any of the photos to see a closer view (including the one above):

I got these plastic bowl containers that are similar to cookie jars. They contain my adhesives, Stickles, and mini chalk inkpads, but are really light. (easier on the cart)

Did you register yet for Donna Downey's Inspired. Artist Workshop?
Registration opened last night. Let me know if you are attending!

We are off to get some Texas BBQ!

I love this idea. This would be a great way to take things to crops too. I always feel like I'm rifling through bags.

Love the cart. I might need that for my 4 day in November. Where did you find the plastic bowls?

Hi Jennifer,
Yes, Mechiel and I will be there. We have been waiting so patiently to sign up. I see her sweet note here. I look forward to meeting you in person and being INSPIRED by you and all the other fabulous instructors. Your cart is awesome and I may have to steal some ideas from it. I had a recent trip to Container Store too for Scrabooking Solutions...I love that place. Well, April will be here sooner than we think! Right?
See ya there!!!
