I am feeling very blessed today. :)
In case you haven't seen Donna Downey's latest newsletter, she is hosting a weekend workshop in April 2008, packed full of inspiring projects and creativity.
When Donna asked me to be her Home Decor Instructor, I was soooo excited.
To be included with these other amazing teachers/artists AND Donna?
And to top it all off.....I absolutely LOVE my project. I cannot WAIT to share it and see what others do with it to make it their own. (That is the best part of teaching!)
Thank you for all of the congratulations.
:)

Ok...children of the 70's and 80's..... My son Noah needs a little brushing up on his math facts.
Other than flashcards, what's a Mom to do to make learning the facts a little more fun?
Well, of course! Use what I used..... The Little Professor!
How many of you remember this little guy?
I bought one on Ebay and am waiting for it arrive.
How fun it will be to see Noah with one. What a flashback!
Have a wonderful night!
Blessings,
Jennifer

Congrats, Jen! So well-deserved, and so exciting!

I was instantly transported back to elementary school by your post. I had The Little Professor but never would have remembered that if not for the photo. Off to take a peek on ebay... :)

Just wanted to say congrats on your teaching gig! I bought one of your "house" kits and love it, I'm sure your project for the Inspired weekend will be fabulous. Wish I could be there, but it's a little too spendy for my budget. Can't wait to live vicariously through all of you! Have a wonderful time!

And the Mr. Wizard, I never had one, but I totally remember him! So cool!

Since my dad worked at Texas Instruments he would always bring home my brother and I stuff like that so we had a Speak-N-Spell, Speak-N-Math, and the Little Professor. Probably sped my learning by a year or two.

Let me comment that the project is ab-so-lute-ly amazing!! Very doable, very customizable, and very useable (those all look like they're spelled wrong...)!!
And I'm so happy to be a part of it :)
Little Professor -- how funny because I remember playing with you and Kendra's but I don't think I knew any of the questions or answers haha
