I made this layout as a thank you for our store owner, Melissa, at Scrapbook Crossing. (The journaling/letter is on the 2nd page of the layout. All of the teachers and employees contributed to an album for her.) The store closes for good in July. I'm sad because that is the first place I ever taught scrapbooking classes. Knowing Melissa and teaching there has opened a lot of doors for me. I wish her a wonderful, restful future with her family. :) Note: That brown ribbon on the layout sure did come out weird in the photo. It's actually got a sheer scalloped edge on a strand of brown velvet. Don't know why it looks so strange there.

Before we got out of the car this afternoon I was putting powder on my face. Noah said, "what are you doing? Oh yeah, putting on that stuff that makes your cheeks fluffy and look like your embarassed." Ha...boys. :) (fluffy?)

We are headed out to eat pizza at a new place nearby. YUMMY homemade pizza! My choice - mushrooms and jalapenos with ranch dressing on the side. (kills a little of the jalapeno heat!)

Blessings,

Jennifer

I'm sorry to hear that Scrapbook Crossing is closing. I really liked that store when we lived in Round Rock. It had the best selection of any of the scrapbook stores in the northern Austin area.

Speaking of boys and the funny things they say, I have a friend whose son calls me the "Jennifer with the holes in her head" because of my curly hair. When I had my first baby, he wanted to know if the baby had holes in its head too. :)

hee hee...fluffy...sam is very interested in my lipstick...everytime I put it on he needs to see and he tells me, "bloo-iful lips, mommy!" How I like them at this age.
