Translation:
I wrote a poem....
Mom makes me mad!
Sometimes she's bad!

When Noah gets mad at me for some horrible thing that I've done like making him take a shower or not eat 3 desserts, he retreats to his art table and I get something like this delivered in an envelope.
Of course, stomping both ways is included. :)
Hey, at least he knows that decorative scissors are back in style!

Blessings,
Jennifer

I don't know what was funnier.

The image of Noah stomping both ways or the comment you made about decorative scissors.

Tee hee hee.

I completely forsee this in my future. Gotta love our kids!

I'm glad to see I am not the only one that gets these types of notes. I recently purchased a binder and am keeping all of my "love letters" and his drawings so that I can show him someday!

Classic.

I get those too, and the verbal assaults are just as heartwarming.

So nice to see that he got the creative gene from you, Jennifer! The horrors of his childhood...he's probably the most mistreated kid in America!

Oh my gosh! This is hilarious. I am loving his use of dec scissors... such a clever boy! And the rhyme - that is genius. The visual of him stomping is what makes this one of my all-time favorite Noah stories. Well, that and the pics of him wearing the underwear on his head because he was upside down boy... yeah, I like that one too :-)

That is just the cutest thing...kids are so great, even when they're mad. He is going to love seeing that someday when he's older!! Don't lose that note!!

Take care...

LOL. My daughter does something similar. When she's in trouble she writes me notes of apology. With pictures.

LOL! Jennifer that note is so cute and funny! And yes....he's very creative like his mom. He knows what's in style. ;)

Oh my gosh this brings back memories! As a young teenager I would leave "I hate my mom" notes lying around when she made me mad!!! I can't believe I ever did that! At least the note you got is a POEM and doesn't use words quite as harsh as HATE! :)
I enjoy your blog, btw!
