Went to see Pirates 3 again last night...and it's a little easier to understand the second time you see it. It sure is looong when you go to the 8:30 p.m. show. But it's fun when you're with girlfriends.
Had my favorite BLT pizza at California Pizza Kitchen, too. :) (Description from the menu: If you like a B.L.T. sandwich, you'll love this! Applewood smoked bacon, Mozzarella, roma tomatoes, hearth-baked, then topped with fresh lettuce lightly tossed with mayonnaise. )
I wanted to say also THANK YOU for all of the nice comments I've been receiving lately. I don't always have your email addresses to write you personally and thank you because well, this blogger is free and it doesn't give me direct contact info when you comment. It sometimes will link back to your blog, but not always. So thank you for reading and being so sweet. :)

I'm making a Texas dinner tonight, so I thought I'd share the recipe. A popular thing to eat here is Chicken Fried Steak, which is really thin lean steak fried with a thick crust and then covered in cream gravy. SO yummy with mashed potatoes and green beans. I'm making the "chicken" version tonight. (David's going on a business trip soon and I gotta get a little southern food in him before he leaves!)
Here's the recipe!

I love this old metal basket I found at Uncommon Objects.
I threw some ribbon rolls in it for now.
I think at one time it was white. :)

Have you seen Teresa McFayden's blog lately?
She is so inspiring.

Blessings,
Jennifer
