Ahhhh....school's out! It was nice to not be in a rush this morning, especially since it's been raining all day here. It's supposed to continue thru Tuesday of next week, so lots of indoor time for us. Ok by me! :)

Aren't these colors gorgeous? This is the Aged Florals line from Fancy Pants Designs. So beautiful for Spring or Summer projects.

I have a pot of Paula Deen's beef stew on the stove right now and later I'm going to make some cornbread. I just use a mix and then add some shredded sharp cheddar cheese and 1/2 can of corn. You can also add salsa or jalapenos to it. It's no fun just plain! (Note: for the stew, I replaced the celery with large diced new potatoes. I didn't have any celery!)

David and I recently borrowed the first season of LOST from my sister and brother-in-law and we are hooked! We've never watched it before and are eager to catch up with the rest of the world. What a great show! We watched the first season of 24, too, and while I liked it, we just think Lost is so much better. That first episode where the plane had just crashed had me watching with my mouth hanging open! We usually watch it at night...and it's hard to stop with just one episode. Are you a LOST fan? My cousin went to school with and is good friends with one of the directors and he's over at their house when he's in town. (they live nearby) Fun connection!

Off to just enjoy being home....doing laundry, watching it rain, and avoiding the rubberbands that Noah is shooting all over the house. :)

Blessings,
Jennifer

We love LOST, Jen! It is awesome. The second season was not as good as the first and third, though. This season was REALLY good and answered a lot of questions...and raised a lot more. LOL The season finale the other night definitely left us hanging. LOL

I'm so glad you're watching Lost! You'll have to keep going after you watch the first season---It's a real cliffhanger on that last episode! I personally really liked season 2! TONS more questions than answers but when you make it to season 3 you'll get more information (not much :)
Mmmmmm stew....I had cereal :P

Jennifer,
I read your blog often and just wanted you to know that I am inspired by your positive spirit. Sometimes I get bogged down with my to-do list of laundry, dishes, changing diapers, deciding what to make for dinner and I always feel a little better after reading the way you seem to look at it as privilege and something to infuse with creativity and fun. Just wanted you to know, kristy
