I'm in the middle of packing for the class and crop tomorrow with Donna Downey.

I still need to print my photos for the class, but no biggie.
I can't wait to create, laugh, shop, and work on new ideas for classes.
I sat in bed last night with a notebook and a booklight, writing down ideas.
I'm really excited about some home decor projects that I'll be working on soon. :)
Oh, and see that big red D? That's what I got for Donna at Uncommon Objects.
I walked in the store and it was sitting right by the door in a big bowl, right on top.
I had to get it! Donna has a bunch of "D's" so I think she'll like it.
The name of the company that made the "D" is on the back, so I looked it up on the internet.
They used to make all of the letters for the signs on drive in movies in the 50's-70's.
I just think that's so cool.
Gotta go finish making dinner so I can pack all of this up!

You are gonna have a blast!! My favorite classes at CKU-Houston were the ones taught by Donna. She is just so fun. I'd love to take more classes with her! And I'm sure she's going to love the "D" you got her. Congrats on the mention in her newsletter...I hadn't had a chance to read it till I read your blog!! That's so exciting!! Can't wait to see what you've got in CK!
