I had a wonderful time at the scrapbook retreat. It's great to get away
for the weekend twice a year and scrapbook, socialize, and LAUGH
for hours at a time. I think I got 7 layouts done, ha. But hey, one of them
won 2nd place in the art show (embellished category, of course) so that was a bonus.
I think I unpacked about an hour after I got home, haha. I wanted my new
scrap space back in order! And so it is.
So back to reality :) (oh yes, just like that photo....)
Did you read Donna Downey's blog entry about the Yahoo Altered Art group?
That is some funny stuff, especially since she has 3 books out on altered art. :)
I love it.
Don't know why, but I went searching for this video this evening.
And it really IS the "worst of" the Dutch Idol auditions. They got them all together
to sing for a half time show. Oh man... it's sad and hilarious all at once.
This is a longer version than I've seen elsewhere. It actually shows parts of each
of their auditions, so you can see WHY they made it to this halftime show, ha.
This video is all over the place, but I wanted to put it here
for your enjoyment. :)
LOVE the dude in black and white who is dancing.
You have to wonder after they got on the field
if they thought, "hmm, maybe I really DO stink?"
God did NOT mean for everyone to sing. (including me!)
I'll post some more tomorrow. Supposed to get my big box from Pink Martini Designs
tomorrow and will be working on Memory Trends layouts! I'll show them when I'm finished.
