Today's theme - CUTE!

Ok, isn't he just the cutest little baseball player ever? :) He just started playing this summer and in his very FIRST game Tuesday night he got two hits and scored a run. He was so excited! It was hilarious because after he ran home and scored, he didn't know what to do. He just sort of hung around home plate. HA! He much prefers batting to fielding. He was picking dandelions while playing center field. :D I love being a baseball Mom!

And here's something else cute...! I ordered this snazzy little apron below from AMY so I could wear it when I teach classes. (click her name for the link, then look for the Totes/Aprons link on the right side) It turned out SO PRECIOUS! The front floral fabric is divided into big pockets, it has long pink ties in the back, and a little pocket on the front for pens, pencils, etc. with ribbon at the top. Not only is it cute, but it's MADE really well. Even the stitching is cute, ha! Thank you for sharing your talent, Amy! :) (Note: Amy doesn't have any more of this fabric, but has some fantastic other ones on her site!)

And joy of all joys.... Noah prayed on Sunday morning at church to ask Jesus into his heart. We had been talking about it for a while and that morning he said he wanted to do it. I can't even explain the feeling we had, knowing that the angels in heaven were rejoicing for Noah. :) And I just know my Dad knew, too. :) Noah is going to get baptized soon and our family will be there to witness it. Oh happy day!

Stay cool! It's SO hot here, but I'm enjoying the summer days with my sweet son. :)

I rejoice with you, Jen!! What wonderful news about Noah!! I understand completely the feeling it gives you. I remember when we went up in front of the church to tell our pastor that the kids had accepted Christ. I was so overjoyed and moved by the moment I couldn't stop crying!! God is good! How wonderful for your family!!!

Ok, I came to look at the apron, but that is awesome about Noah! My daughter made her confession of faith on Palm Sunday and was baptised last month. I'm not sure how I got through it without crying (maybe because I had to play the piano right after?). Congrats on his decision. :)
