Have Your Cake....

(click on the photo to see it larger)

Here's a picture of Noah's ice-cream birthday cake! I bought the cake at a bakery and then decorated the top myself. I was a little ticked when I picked it up..... I asked for LIME green, bright yellow, and dark red icing swirlies all over the sides. Uh...this is pink, pale yellow, and pale green. Ok, so I made the best of it. I am NOT a cake artist, but I did it out of love! The volcano is a styrofoam cup turned upside down with a longer piece of styrofoam as the lava base. The candles will go inside the top of the volcano. My little writing icing tubes were way too thin so my writing looks awful, lol....but Noah won't care. :) It should taste good, though. It's a chocolate cake with a layer of vanilla ice cream inside with whipped cream frosting. Yum!

Off to finish party preparations! :)
