Here's my Secret!

My cold has arrived. Funny, I had an already standing appointment with my pulmonologist yesterday for an asthma checkup. So he gave me a prescription for antibiotics just in case I need them this weekend. I think I'll need them. But what a blessing that I was already going there. Good timing, Lord. :)

So I've been spending the day resting with my chamomile tea and honey, Carmex, kleenex, and laptop computer. My sweet sister has Noah today and he was really glad to go to her house. (he and her son are best friends and just 11 months apart.) :)

Tomorrow is my birthday and I'm determined to feel better by then. That's why I've been taking it so easy today and last night. ( I feel really lazy right now, but I know if I don't rest then I won't be any good to anyone anyway!) I don't know if I can do karaoke with this sore throat, so I might just have to listen to my other sisters wail out the 70s and 80s songs. :)

I've heard that the March CK magazine is out in some places. I want to SEE IT! That's where my big secret is - my scrap space is the featured space in Denise Pauley's article "Embrace Your Space!" I'm so thrilled about this. I've known about this since October, so it was VERY hard to keep a secret for so long. I had to take 30+ photos for the CK editors, so I'm anxious to see which ones they used in the article. The online portion of the article just has more information about my space and one photo, so it's not as extensive as the actual magazine article. Here is the link to the online part: Jennifer's Scrap Space. YAY! This is probably my biggest "shout out" in the scrapbooking world yet! :) (and a pretty nice birthday present!)

Speaking of my Mom....she is so sweet and special to me. She emailed this to me yesterday when I told her I was getting sick:

When you need help

I'm always here

Just ring me up

I'll bring good cheer.

:) :) I love you, Mom!!

I'm off to watch The Golden Girls and drink some more chamomile tea. :)

I love you too, Jennifer. I was so happy the day you were born and I had so many hopes and dreams for you. I feel that they all came true! Happy birthday, my sweet daughter. And as your Dad would say if he were here, Happy Birthday, pup!

WHOOOHOOOOO on the CK article! Glad to see there's a "regular" scrap space. . .instead of a lot of the huge ones they've been doing. I can't wait to see it! They should do mine if they ever want to run a total IKEA space! {snicker}

Happy birthday! Hoping you felt better by the time it rolled around. And totally laughing about the Mama's Family theme!
