Heaven in a Mug....

Williams-Sonoma Peppermint Hot Chocolate.. Absolutely the BEST hot chocolate you've ever tasted. It tastes like melted peppermint chocolate. SO good. And you make it by heating milk in a pot on the stove and stirring in the chocolate. Oh...and it's not a powder. It's chocolate shavings infused with peppermint.

From their website:
Our peppermint hot chocolate is enhanced with a whisper of natural peppermint oil, triple distilled to extract the cool, clean taste of fresh mint. Because hot chocolate is truly a distinctly different sip than hot cocoa, it’s produced from shavings of premium chocolate rather than cocoa powder. This makes it intensely chocolaty with a well-rounded body, rich taste, smooth texture and exquisite aroma. Inspired by the famed Café Angélina in Paris, where steaming pots of velvety hot chocolate are served with bowls of whipped cream alongside, we chose an artisanal bittersweet chocolate crafted for us by Guittard, San Francisco chocolate makers since the 19th century. It liquefies quickly and consistently in hot milk.

And if you don't like peppermint, they do have regular Hot Chocolate and a new French Hot Chocolate. And for the true chocoholics, add in some chocolate marshmallows. :)

Day after Thanksgiving....Williams Sonoma......I'm there, just like last year! Hey, this could be a fun tradition. :)

Oh my! Chocolate shavings??? I'm so there! This might even beat the Godiva hot cocoa I usually drink!

Drool!

I totally ripped off their peppermint bark and made my own version. Was not gonna spend 20 bucks on two kinds of chocolate and broken peppermint candies. :)

My family and friends request it every year. Just add a tsp of peppermint extract to the semi-sweet chocolate layer and it you've got it made.

:)
