9 Years and Still in Love!

Today is mine and David's 9th anniversary :) God truly put us together and we are thankful for that EVERY single day. We have a beautiful 5-year old son, a wonderful extended family, a beautiful home full of love, and so many more things to be thankful for. We celebrated this weekend (a few posts down) and tonight we'll go out to eat with Noah.

The photo above is a layout I did about David about a year ago. :) (you can click on it to see it larger)

I changed my video for my sweet husband. I love you, David! Here are the words to this song...makes me cry every time. I think about the Lord and how much He loves us and I also think about how blessed I am to be married to David. You love me exactly how I am...just as the Lord does. What a gift that is to me. :)

You Raise Me Up
- Josh Groban

When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary;
When troubles come and my heart burdened be;
Then, I am still and wait here in the silence,
Until you come and sit awhile with me.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up: To more than I can be.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up: To more than I can be.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up: To more than I can be.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up: To more than I can be.

No recipe today :) Have a blessed day!!

I'll never forget the day in 1996 I was driving home alone and heard the song "One of Two" by Gary Chapman, and thought, "If I don't ask this to marry me, I am a complete idiot." And I was exactly right.

Jennifer, Happy Anniversary to you both! I didn't realize -- or maybe I just forgot -- until I read on 2peas, that you spent part of your honeymoon at the same place we did, the Chateau Frontenac!! Wasn't it wonderful?

Just catching up on your blog...I can't believe your husband prepared that incredible meal! Holy cow!! How wonderful! Best wishes for many, many more blissful years together.
